We discussed the state of my fluid concept proposal in a CDL call on March 3rd, 2023.
Nutshell version: I'm still shooting for a federated formal concept lattice. It should evolve as a CRDT using definition elements, in particular distinctions and instances. (From a commoning perspective, we need to add stories and concerns to the mix, but here I'm looking at formal definitions.)
Definition elements use other concepts which may themselves be in flux, or be contested. So concept references must be precise enough to keep track of concept evolution, yet broad enough to be effectively compared. Effectively, I'm proposing that personal definitions should track the full history of changes to a personal concept, but maintain in parallel a projection of the individual concept into a space of federated equivalence classes, defined those by collectively endorsed substantial differences.
